The matter of eternity is an all-important one because the Bible tells us that God made man in His own image, and one of the attributes of God that is found in man’s soul from creation is that of eternity.
At death, the spirit which never dies, is separated back to the Lord to be kept for eternity while the body is returned back to the earth where it comes from – Eccl. 12: 7
The Bible teaches that there are two places of eternity;
- Hell fire, a place of eternal punishment for those that refused to accept Christ as their Lord and savior – John 5: 29
- The Kingdom of God a place of eternal life for those who gave their lives to Christ and live for Him – Matt. 25: 41, 46;
Friend, stop and consider your life and where you will spend your eternity, in view of the fact that the two places of eternity are real.
The good news today, is that Jesus obtained redemption for us, so that those who believed on Him might receive the promise of eternal inheritance (Eternal life) – John3: 16; Heb. 9: 12, 15.
This is the truth about eternity: Repent of your sins, accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, decide to live for Him, then eternal life will be yours. But if you will reject Him and go on in your sins, He will be your judge one of these days, then your place will be eternal punishment in hell, therefore, why not consider your ways today in view of eternal life.
Do not let anything keep you from choosing eternal life today. Trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today.
Do you want eternity with Christ? If yes, then confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart and you will be saved.
Then speak to Him right now, like this;
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner; I want you to save me, and grant me eternal life, make yourself known to me”.
Believe in your heart, and you will be saved.
